I had the veggies, rice, hummus, pita, and side of falafel. Everything was absolutely delicious and the portion was good. There was so much flavor in every item in this meal. The hummus was so flavorful, the rice was perfectly salted, and the falafel and pita were very delicious. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is really nice and clean, good atmosphere.

I actually liked my meal and the service at this Hummus place. Not sure why it's always empty but the eggplant was delicious, the hummus was decent too. Staff was great. Didn't like the super dry falafel though so I wouldn't come back for that. Decent and fast Mediterranean food though.

We are fans of Hummus place at Stanford, but San Mateo location is different. Quality of the food is the same, but vibes and ambience is more like canteen. My husband always go for lamb shish kebab it is good. I went for salmon - it varies, not as predictable as kebab. The place and the team are very kids friendly. We are visiting with our 13months old baby, the team plays and interacts with the baby in a very friendly "Turkish" style way! Much appreciated!

I went to Hummus on a team dinner. The restaurant is very well decorated and appealing. We went as a group of five and found a table that was suitable, but overall would not recommend for larger groups. We made our order at the counter and got our food fairly quickly. We decided to try a sampler platter as an appetizer. It came with 3 falafels and many dips. To me, it felt that there was way too much dip to eat the three falafels with. I think it's more to accompany your main entree vs eating by itself. We had some tea served which was quite delicious and great for the cold night. I ordered a chicken kebab plate which came with two skewers of chicken, salad, tzatziki, pita and a side of plain rice. It was quite filling and delicious when eaten with some of the sampler platter dips, I loved the baba ganoush. I think overall everyone enjoyed their meal. Parking was fairly easy to find on a weekday night right out front. The cashier was friendly!

I ordered a salmon wrap which I enjoyed. I thought the price for the wrap and the sauce on the side was a little too expensive. I paid about $18.50 including tip. The service was reasonable. There was self service for water. I thought the ambience was on the loud side so I wish the ambience was softer. This is my second time eating here. In general, I recommend this place for tasty food.

Casual Middle East Mediterranean restaurant. You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. Lots of freshly made dishes and they have a gyro rotisserie. The salad was huge and very good. The wrap was a little small but still good. Overall good place for a quick meal I would go back. FYI there is a 3% health charge

Doordash order. Lovely, lovely hummus! The original hummus is second to Dish n Dash's hummus in my opinion. The Chipotle hummus was nice. I wouldn't order it on its own though. I did not try the feta and olive hummus but my partner liked it fine. My favorite was the BEET HUMMUS! It was GREAT! It was a little sweet and vibrant, which was nice. I'm still thinking about it. Ranked in order: 1. Beet hummus - would definitely come back to order this again. 2. Original hummus - Nice hummus but would not go out of my way for it. 3. Chipotle hummus - glad I tried it but I don't need to have any more. Hummus flight comes with one pita bread cut in two, which is nowhere near enough. We ordered two extra sides of pita bread and still ran out of pita before the hummus. Can't wait to have the beet hummus again!

I was very surprised. I didn't know what to expect . The food was very good , I'm headed plant based and close to vegan so I'm trying new places. Service was good they give you a number and deliver it to your table. It's steady with customers so you know it's good. Little tables throughout and it's a clean and very welcoming. I will be back
